Tonight marked the official start of the summer sailing season at Cherry Creek. The Yacht Club's Wednesday night grill opened. Jace got to try out his new life vest. It was a big hit. For the first time ever, he was able to move around the docks without me hovering half an inch away and grabbing him every time he moved.Jace and I wandered around for a while and then took a paddle boat out for a little spin around the Marina. It was a beautiful, warm, still evening on the lake. Perfect for paddle boating. Frustrating for sailors.
Mommy loves that little red life vest. I was able to relax (a little) and take photos instead of diving after him every time he trotted out to the end of a dock.
Look, he has total confidence in my ability to operate our vessel while documenting the voyage.
