more travel - day 2

This morning, while I made his breakfast, Jace pushed the stool from the kitchen into the living room. When it tipped over, with a loud KER-THUMP, he started climbing all over it. His excitement was dimmed only slightly when (right after this picture was taken) the stool rolled over and dumped him on the floor.

This afternoon we heard the Aurora tornado sirens go off. Luckily, we did not get anything more than dark clouds, wind and a little rain. South of us there was hail. No tornadoes today. The weather warnings kept Jace and I in the house instead of getting out and about.
Everyday, I am trying to offer new foods. Trying to find Jace's likes and dislikes and just trying to get some extra calories in his diet. He loves watermelon! I introduced it a few weeks ago, giving him small bites that he could pick up easily. He no longer had patience for the little bites. He just dives into the slices. He ate 2 triangles tonight (after he had already eaten his regular dinner).
